This new cleaning solution minimizes impact on the environment by removing almost all the water from the equation, leaving ultra-concentrated strips of the actual cleansing agents.

This latest addition to their growing line of eco-strips (like their Laundry Detergent and Multi-Surface Cleaner), can be shipped in slim-profile cardboard packaging and be quickly reconstituted in water to perform as well as the water-logged brands that heed to come in heavy and thick plastic containers which tend not to get recycled properly.

Tru Earth Toilet Bowl Cleaner strips are easy to use (just tear one off, let it sit a bit, then scrub as normal); easy to stow away in the medicine cabinet out of reach of little ones; easy on the environment (with completely biodegradable packaging, and no plastics or microbeads); and ultimately easy on eyes (“No More Toilet Rings,” according to their makers).

Ingredients:

Active Ingredient: Alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, 2.97 % W/W

Other ingredients: Vegetable Glycerin, Starch, PVA (polyvinyl alcohol), Potassium Sorbate, Cocamido propyl betaine, Sodium Gluconate, Sulfonic acids, C14-16-alkane hydroxy and C14-16-alkene, sodium salts, Glycereth cocoate, Caprylyl Glucoside, Octyl Glucoside.

This product is manufactured in Canada. It is vegan-friendly and has never been tested on animals.

Suggested Usage:

Each strip is designed for a single session of cleaning. The procedure for using one is as follows:

1. Flush toilet to begin with clean water.

2. Detach a single strip from the sheet of 3 or 4 eco-strips (if it’s not already).

3. Place strip inside toilet bowl.

4. Leave the strip to dissolve into a cleaning solution, which only takes a couple of minutes.

5. Use a toilet brush to scrub the inside of the toilet bowl and under its rim with that new cleaning solution.

6. Flush the toilet when it’s done to your satisfaction.

Warnings:

FIRST AID TREATMENT: Contains Quaternary Ammonium Compounds. If swallowed, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately, and bring the container, label, or product name with you when seeking medical attention. Do not induce vomiting.

MAY IRRITATE EYES. If it gets in the eyes, remove any contact lenses present if it is easy to do so, and rinse with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, call a doctor.

If it gets on the skin, rinse well with water. If the fumes get inhaled, bring the person out to fresh air.

KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Do not get in eyes or on clothing.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

STORAGE: Store Tru Earth cleaner strips in a dry place no lower in temperature than 15°C or higher than 30°C. Be careful not to contaminate water, food or animal feed through the storage or disposal of the unused product.
